RED aluminum chain NICKEL FREE 10" /CUSTOM anklet with CRYSTAL BUTTERFLY pendant

Made to reflect light in several directions, this chain is made of nickel-free
RED
anodizing over bevel-cut aluminum for maximum sparkle with minimum weight.  This chain ends in a toggle clasp, which involves pulling the straight bar lengthwise through the circle and then letting it relax back crosswise, giving a level of security not found with lobster clasps.  The quality crystal butterfly pendant on the toggle got its idea from the recently popular toggle necklaces.  The chain as pictured has an
open
length of 10-1/8 inches and
a
closed
length approximately 9-7/8 inches.  This length will fit an ankle measurement between 9-1/4 and 9-3/4 inches.
NOT ALL ANKLES ARE THE SAME SIZE
.  Your best fit is insured by measuring your ankle with a string or measuring tape.  I can custom fit this ankle bracelet, either longer or shorter.

Please note that the extra 1/4 inch in length is necessary for closing the toggle.  If you've never had the pleasure of wearing aluminum before, I should add that aluminum is
noticeably lighter
than steel and brass versions, which is important if you want to stack several anklets for a custom look.
Please note that aluminum is softer than steel.  The links in an aluminum chain may bend open if you wear your ankle bracelet for sports or athletic events, or give them to children.  I use aluminum because its non-allergenic and the color is lasting.  Aluminum will not rust or cause skin rash or irritation as plated steel can, especially if exposed to moisture or perspiration.
This anklet is guaranteed to be HYPOALLERGENIC.  I have the worst allergy to nickel my allergist has ever seen, so before I listed this anklet, I made one for myself and wear-tested it a couple days and nights for everything from gardening to the shower.
