    Description

AR denar, .32g, 11mm. This is a very fine, small coin of uncertain attribution. My only Hungarian reference is Dr. Unger Emil's Magyar Eremhatarozo. It was identified as Bela III but it doesn't clearly match his coins as far as I can tell. It is close to a 12th C style, but I do not have a full match. There are two possibilities. One side is reasonable close to Emil 52, Bela II, but the other side does not match. Likewise, it is close to Kalman, Emil 32, but again the other side does not match. I show those images from Emil. My best guess this is an uncatalogued coin, likely Bela. If anyone has better insight, I'd appreciate knowing about it.
